AGES 6–14
Programs and Schedule
The unique majors program at SummerCamp @Ross offers children the opportunity to follow their passions and focus on creative activities and sports. Our team of specialists, instructors and counselors work together every day to provide the best summer experience in the Hamptons.
Most majors require a four-week commitment so campers can build skills from week to week. This is especially true of our Media, Performance and Arts majors, which culminate in performances, gallery exhibitions and video screenings. Two-week options are available within each session.
Session 1 runs from June 28 through July 23. Session 2 is from July 26 through August 20. Campers who attend the entire eight-week season are welcome to choose one major for both sessions (when available) or select different majors each session.

A typical day at SummerCamp @Ross starts with an extended morning instruction period in a chosen major. Campers can select either a half-day option, ending at 12:30pm (after lunch), or a full-day option, ending at 3:30pm. Full-day campers rotate through a variety of activities in the afternoons, so campers might participate in a cooking session and relay races one day, mountain biking and photography the next day, and African drumming and Capture the Flag the day following. Campers meet in the Great Hall at the end of the day for announcements and pick-up.
